What we bring to Adrian

Adrian's the kind of town that keeps roll-off boxes busy, with the older brick and frame homes around downtown and the two campuses always turning over. We bring all five dumpster sizes up here, and bulk materials are yours to grab at the yard. Pick what you came for:

About Adrian

Adrian is the seat of Lenawee County, a town of about twenty thousand built around a well-kept downtown of 19th-century brick. M-52 cuts north and south through the middle as Main Street, US-223 skirts the south side, and M-34 carries traffic out to the west. The River Raisin and Beaver Creek wind through the city, and the two campuses bracket it, Adrian College on the west side and Siena Heights University on the east. It grew up as a railroad and manufacturing town, the old fence capital, so a lot of the housing is older brick and frame with settled lots. From our Delta yard it's roughly a half-hour northwest, up past Morenci and the state line.

Dumpster rental in Adrian

We run all five roll-off sizes up to Adrian. The 10-yard suits a bathroom remodel or a heavy load of concrete and dirt, the 15 and 20-yard handle a kitchen tear-out, a flooring job, or a roof, and the 30 and 40-yard are for whole-house cleanouts and contractor builds. Adrian sits a bit further out, so it's a longer haul for us, and we'll quote it straight up when you call with the address.

Placement in Adrian runs the full range. The older grid near downtown and around both college sides has narrow drives and street parking, where the 10 or 15-yard sits easier and a photo of the spot helps. Out toward the newer subdivisions off M-34 on the southwest side, the driveways are wider and any size drops fine. On a fresh driveway or a hot day we'll set boards under the box so it doesn't mark the surface, and we put it where you want it, not just at the end of the apron.

The jobs that come up most in Adrian are roof tear-offs and kitchen or bath remodels on the older brick and frame homes, garage and basement cleanouts when a place near the campuses turns over, and contractor containers parked for the week on the newer builds. Shed and deck demos pick up once the weather breaks.

Bulk landscape materials in Adrian

For the settled lots and college-side yards around Adrian, we keep topsoil and mulch priced by the yard and sand and stone by the ton. The topsoil and mulch are made at our own yard, so the price isn't padded with freight from somewhere else.

Adrian's older lots near downtown go through a lot of mulch and topsoil to fill in settled beds and patch up lawns, and the homes along the River Raisin and Beaver Creek are good candidates for clean stone where low ground holds water. Limestone base and decorative river rock both move for driveways and beds on the newer west-side streets.

Adrian is a bit outside our 25-mile materials delivery range, so the move is to pick up at our Delta yard. Bring a truck or trailer and we'll load you, and it's an easy run down M-52 and US-223. Not sure how much you need? Each material page has a calculator that works it out by length, width, and depth, so call first and we'll square up the amount before you make the drive. A lot of folks rent a dumpster for the old material and grab the new stone and mulch in the same trip.

Roads and neighborhoods in Adrian

Downtown Adrian centers on Main Street, which is M-52, with the brick storefronts and the Lenawee County Courthouse a block off it, and the Croswell Opera House nearby. US-223 runs along the south city line and meets M-52 there, while M-34 heads out the west side through the residential sections past Adrian College. Siena Heights University anchors the east side, and the River Raisin and Beaver Creek thread through the middle, with Riverside Park, Trestle Park, and the Kiwanis Trail following the water. The older blocks near downtown and the two campuses run tighter and tree-lined, while the subdivisions off M-34 on the southwest side are newer with more room. Tell us your cross streets when you call and we'll plan placement so the box sits clean and the truck has room to pull out.

Adrian questions, answered

Do you deliver dumpsters to Adrian?

Yes. We run all five roll-off sizes up to Adrian from our Delta yard. Adrian sits a bit further out, so it's a longer haul for us. Tell us the address and what you're clearing and we'll quote it and line up a drop.

Can the dumpster go on my driveway in Adrian?

Usually yes. On a new driveway or a hot day we'll set boards under the box so it doesn't mark the surface, and we put it where you want it. The older blocks near downtown and the college sides run tighter, so send a photo if you're not sure it'll fit.

Do you deliver mulch, topsoil, and stone to Adrian?

Adrian is a bit outside our 25-mile materials delivery range, but you're welcome to pick up at our Delta yard. Bring a truck or trailer and we'll load you. Mulch and topsoil are sold by the cubic yard, sand and stone by the ton.

How much mulch or stone do I need?

Run a tape over the bed for length, width, and depth, then drop those numbers into the calculator on the material page for a ballpark. Give us a call after that and we'll nail down the amount before you head down for it.

Can I pick up materials at the yard instead of having them delivered to Adrian?

Yes, and for Adrian that's the way to go since it's past our materials range. Bring a truck or trailer to our Delta yard and we'll load you. We make our own topsoil and mulch.

How long can I keep a dumpster in Adrian?

Standard rental runs 10 days. If your roof or remodel on one of the older brick and frame homes near downtown runs long, extra days are just 10 dollars a day. Call the yard and we'll keep the box out as long as you need it.

What size dumpster do I need for a roof tear-off in Adrian?

Roof tear-offs are one of the jobs we see most in Adrian, and a 15 or 20-yard handles most of them. Shingles are heavy, but our weight limits are generous, higher than most, so a single layer strip usually fits fine. Tell us the square footage and how many layers when you call and we'll point you to the right size.
