We offer three grinds, all produced here. Prices are per cubic yard. One yard covers about 100 square feet at three inches deep.

Hardwood, double-shredded and aged to a medium brown. It looks natural, holds moisture, and keeps weeds down.

Triple Processed Mulch
All-natural, ground a third time and aged to a rich dark brown. It is fine and uniform for a polished bed.

Premium Black Mulch
Triple-processed hardwood bark colored a deep, consistent black that resists fading. It has a fine texture for a clean, modern look.

Measure your bed. Pick a depth, usually two to three inches. This gives a rough cubic-yard estimate.

Is mulch sold by the cubic yard?
We sell mulch by the cubic yard. One yard covers about 100 square feet at three inches deep.
How deep should I spread mulch?
Two to three inches is typical. This depth holds moisture and controls weeds without smothering plants.
Which mulch holds its color the longest?
Our premium black mulch holds its color longest. Natural double and triple processed mulches fade to gray over a season. Many customers prefer this faded look.
Do you deliver mulch near Toledo?
Yes, we deliver within about 25 miles of our Delta yard. You can also pick it up at the yard. Need to clear out a bed first? We rent roll-off dumpsters.
What is the difference between double processed and triple processed mulch?
Double processed is hardwood shredded twice and aged to a medium brown, a great value for big beds. Triple processed is ground a third time so it comes out finer and a darker brown for a more polished look. Both are all-natural and made right here at our Delta yard.
Can you dump the mulch right by my flower beds?
Yes, we'll put the pile exactly where you want it so you're not wheelbarrowing it across the whole yard. Just tell the driver where to drop it when you call to order at (419) 825-5956.
