Our double processed mulch is hardwood that's been double-shredded and aged to a natural medium brown. It holds moisture, keeps weeds down, and gives beds a clean natural look without the cost of a dyed mulch. We make it ourselves from what we recycle, so you're not paying to truck it in.
Run it about 3 inches deep over your beds and it'll do the work all season. Because there's no dye in it, the color will mellow and gray as the year goes on, which is normal for a natural mulch. If you're tearing out old beds first, we rent roll-off dumpsters too. One yard covers about 100 square feet at 3 inches.

What is the difference between double and triple processed mulch?
Double processed is hardwood double-shredded, so it's a bit coarser and it's our budget pick when you're covering a lot of ground. Triple processed runs one more pass for a finer texture. Both are natural, no dye, and we make them ourselves here at the Delta yard.
How much double processed mulch fits in a pickup truck?
A standard pickup bed usually holds about 2 to 3 yards of mulch, though it depends on your truck. Bring it by the yard and we'll load you, or tell us the project and we'll help you figure the amount before you drive out.
