20 yard dumpster rental
This is the size most people choose for a full project. It holds about 8 pickup loads and has low sides for easy loading. We deliver across the Toledo area from our Delta yard.
Book your 20-yard
Pick your dates and order online, or call the yard to set it up. The standard rental is 10 days. Extra days cost about $12 a day. If a load runs heavy, we'll go over any weight and overage with you before delivery, not after.

- Fast, on-time delivery
Most homeowners and remodelers rent the 20-yard. At 22 feet long and 4 feet tall, it holds real volume. The low walls make it easy to load heavy debris over the side instead of hauling it up and over. It is the right choice when a 15-yard is too small but you do not need the height of a 30-yard.
Where we place it
We usually place the dumpster on your driveway. On a fresh driveway or a hot day we will set boards under it so it does not mark the surface. We put it where you want it. The truck needs a clear run of about 60 feet to set the box down and pick it up, with no low wires or branches overhead. If you are not sure it will fit, send a photo when you call and we will tell you up front.
Weight and what goes in
Our weight allowances are higher than most yards around here, so normal household or remodel loads are usually fine. Dense debris like concrete, dirt, or shingles is heavy. If you plan to load these materials, tell us when you order. We will go over the weight limits and any overage fees before delivery, not after.
We take most household, construction, and demolition debris. We do not accept hazardous waste, batteries, tires, or asbestos. If you are not sure, just ask.
20 yard dumpster questions
What are the dimensions of a 20 yard dumpster?
Our 20-yard roll-off is about 22 feet long, 8 feet wide, and 4 feet high. It holds roughly 8 pickup loads of debris and sits low enough to load by hand over the side.
What can I put in a 20 yard dumpster?
We accept most household, construction, and demolition debris. Do not load hazardous waste, batteries, tires, or asbestos. Ask us when you call if you are unsure.
How much does a 20 yard dumpster cost?
Pricing starts at $400 for a 10-day rental. Extra days cost about $12 a day. The weight limit is 5 tons. Heavy loads like concrete or shingles can affect the price, so mention it when you order.
Where can the dumpster be placed?
We usually place the dumpster on your driveway. On a new driveway or a hot day we will set boards under it so it does not mark the surface. We put it where you want it. The 20-yard needs a clear, roughly 60-foot run for the truck to drop it off and pick it up.
Is a 20 yard dumpster big enough for a roof tear-off?
For most single-layer roof replacements the 20-yard is a solid fit, and it is one of the sizes our roofers reach for. Shingles are heavy, so tell us it is a tear-off when you order and we will make sure the size and dates line up with your job.
Should I get a 15 yard or a 20 yard dumpster?
The 20-yard is the one most people land on for a full project. Go up to the 20 when a 15-yard feels tight but you do not need the extra height of a 30-yard. If you are on the fence, tell us the job when you call and we will point you to the right size.
