Mulch and topsoil sell by the cubic yard; sand and stone by the ton. A cubic yard of mulch or topsoil covers about 100 square feet at three inches deep, so the size of the bed sets the yardage, and the depth sets the rest. For stone and gravel, coverage depends on the stone size and depth, so we work the tonnage out with you.
Because we make the topsoil and mulch here at the Delta yard, a Toledo order skips the freight markup that comes with trucking material in from another county. The price on the list is the material; the only thing that moves the total is how much you order, and whether it's a delivery or a pickup.
Mulch and topsoil are the two materials people actually cross-shop on price, and ours run $28 a cubic yard for double-processed mulch and $38 a cubic yard for screened topsoil, made right here at the Delta yard instead of trucked in from another county. Stone and sand are priced the same straightforward way, by the ton, with no minimum-order games and no "starting at" number that jumps once you actually call.
The listed price is for the material. We deliver bulk material within about 25 miles of our Delta yard, and the west side of Toledo sits right around that edge, so a far-side delivery can carry a fee. Bring a truck or trailer out to the yard and there's no delivery charge, which is a common move for East Toledo and downtown addresses past the range. Call with your address and we'll confirm delivery or pickup before you order. Doing a full redo? A lot of folks rent a roll-off dumpster for the old material and order the new load in the same call.
Our bulk mulch runs $28 a cubic yard for double processed, $34 for triple processed, and $36 for premium black. We make it at our Delta yard, so the price isn't carrying freight from another county. That's the material price; delivery to the far Toledo side may add a fee, or you can pick up at the yard.
Screened topsoil is $38 a cubic yard, produced at our own Delta yard. One cubic yard covers about 100 square feet at three inches deep, so measure the area and we'll help you size the load.
Mulch and topsoil are sold by the cubic yard; sand and stone by the ton. The price on this list is per unit of material. Delivery is included within our 25-mile range around Delta; past the edge it can add a fee, and a yard pickup has no delivery charge.

Measure the bed length and width and pick a depth. One cubic yard of mulch or topsoil covers about 100 square feet at three inches deep. Each material page has a calculator that works it out, then call and we'll square up the load.
Stone, sand, and gravel are commodities, so prices can move with the market. The list here is current, but give us a call to confirm the price on your material and load before you order. Asphalt millings and recycled concrete are priced by the load, so call for a quote on those.
