What we bring to Whitehouse

From new-build debris boxes in the subdivisions to fresh lawns over that sandy Oak Openings ground, we run roll-off dumpsters in five sizes plus bulk topsoil, mulch, sand, and stone. Pick what you came for:

About Whitehouse

Whitehouse sits in the southwest corner of Lucas County, about three miles west of Waterville and roughly eighteen miles out from downtown Toledo. State Route 64 runs through the middle of town, coming in as Providence Street through the old downtown and bending into Waterville Street on the east side. It's an old railroad village that has grown fast, with the historic blocks around the Village Park ringed by newer subdivisions like Birch Pointe Farms. The Wabash Cannonball Trail cuts right through town on the old rail bed and ties into the Oak Openings Preserve just to the west, so a lot of the area backs up to woods and sandy soil. From our Delta yard it's a short run southeast on the back roads, about fifteen minutes out.

Roads and neighborhoods in Whitehouse

Downtown Whitehouse runs along Providence Street, where State Route 64 threads past the storefronts and the Village Park that Edward Whitehouse and John Osborn laid out back in the 1860s. Heading east, SR-64 becomes Waterville Street and carries the traffic toward Waterville and the Maumee, passing the Blue Creek Recreation Area and Nona France Park near the edge of town. The Wabash Cannonball Trail crosses on the old rail line and runs west into Maumee State Forest and the Oak Openings Preserve, so the lots out that way back up to woods and sand. The older blocks near the village center sit on shorter drives, while the newer subdivisions like Birch Pointe Farms off Weckerly Road and Finzel Road have wider lots and roomier approaches. The whole area falls in the Anthony Wayne school district, and the village still throws its Cherry Fest every summer. Tell us your cross streets when you call and we'll plan placement so the box sits clean and the truck has room to pull out.

Whitehouse questions, answered

Do you deliver dumpsters to Whitehouse?

Yes. We run all five roll-off sizes into Whitehouse from our Delta yard. Tell us the address and what you're clearing and we'll line up a drop.

Can the dumpster go on my driveway in Whitehouse?

Usually yes. On a fresh driveway in one of the newer subdivisions, or on a hot day, we'll set boards under it so it doesn't mark the surface. We place it where you want it and don't tear up the yard.

Do you deliver mulch, topsoil, and stone to Whitehouse?

Yes. Whitehouse is well inside our 25-mile range, so we deliver materials right to your address, or you can pick up at our Delta yard. Mulch and topsoil are sold by the cubic yard, sand and stone by the ton.

How much mulch or stone do I need?

Size up the bed by length, width, and depth, then feed those into the calculator on each material page for a ballpark. Bring us that number when you call and we'll finish out the order.

Can I pick up materials at the yard instead of having them delivered to Whitehouse?

Yes. Bring a truck or trailer to our Delta yard off County Road 5-2 and we'll load you. It's a straight run west on the back roads from Whitehouse.

How long can I keep a dumpster in Whitehouse?

The standard rental runs 10 days, plenty for a garage cleanout in the older blocks or a remodel out in Birch Pointe Farms. If a project on a wider subdivision lot runs long, extra days are just $10 a day, so keep it as long as you need.

What topsoil works best for the sandy Oak Openings ground in Whitehouse?

Our own topsoil, made from composted leaves and grass at the Delta yard, is what a lot of Whitehouse folks put down over that sandy Oak Openings soil to hold moisture and get new seed to take. It's sold by the yard, and we'll deliver it right where you want it or dump it at the bed.
