What we bring to Metamora

Out where SR-120 and SR-64 cross, we run dumpsters in five sizes plus bulk topsoil, mulch, sand, and stone for the village blocks on Maple Street and the farms spread across Amboy Township. Pick what you came for:

About Metamora

Metamora is a small village, a few hundred people, sitting where State Route 120 and State Route 64 meet in the northeast corner of Fulton County. SR-64 runs up Maple Street and ends at the Michigan line a quarter-mile north of town, and the old Norfolk Southern rail line cuts through the edge of the village. Outside the few blocks of the village proper it's open farmland in every direction, and Metamora is the home of Evergreen Local Schools, so the Viking ballfields and bus garage anchor the place. From our Delta yard it's about a 16-mile run northeast, straight up through the farm country.

Dumpster rental in Metamora

We run all five roll-off sizes up to Metamora. The 10-yard suits a bathroom remodel or a heavy load of concrete and dirt, the 15 and 20-yard handle a kitchen tear-out, a flooring job, or a roof, and the 30 and 40-yard are for whole-house cleanouts, barn jobs, and contractor builds.

Placement is easy out here. The lots in the village along Maple Street and the side streets have plenty of yard, and the farm drives and gravel lanes out in Amboy Township give us all the room we need to set a box and pull out clean. On a fresh driveway or a hot day we'll set boards under it so it doesn't mark the surface, and we put it exactly where you want it. If your drive is soft or you're not sure about the spot, say so when you call.

The jobs we see most around Metamora are farmhouse and outbuilding cleanouts, roof tear-offs, and remodels on the older village homes, plus the occasional barn or shed teardown out on the section roads. When a place changes hands, a garage and basement cleanout usually comes with it.

Bulk landscape materials in Metamora

Materials come priced two ways: topsoil and mulch by the yard, sand and stone by the ton. Because we make the topsoil and mulch ourselves, the price doesn't carry any out-of-area trucking.

Around Metamora a lot of that goes to grading and topsoil for new builds on the farm lots, mulch for the beds in the village, and crushed stone for the long driveways and farm lanes that take a beating over a wet spring. Sand comes up for setting pavers and for projects around the outbuildings.

Metamora sits inside our 25-mile range, so we deliver materials right to your address, or you can run a truck or trailer down to our Delta yard and we'll load you. Not sure how much you need? Each material page has a calculator that works it out by length, width, and depth. A lot of folks clearing an old bed or driveway rent a dumpster for the haul-off and order the new stone and mulch in the same call.

Roads and neighborhoods in Metamora

Metamora is laid out around the crossing of State Route 120 and State Route 64, with Maple Street carrying SR-64 north toward the Michigan line a quarter-mile out of the village. The Norfolk Southern rail line runs along the edge of town, and the Evergreen Local Schools campus on County Road 6 sits just south, where the Viking elementary, middle, and high school buildings share the same grounds. Past the few blocks of the village it's section roads and farmland, numbered county roads running the grid out toward Lyons to the west and Berkey and the Lucas County line to the east. The Amboy Township cemetery sits south of town off SR-64. Tell us your road and the nearest crossroad when you call and we'll plan placement so the box sits clean and the truck has room to swing out.

Metamora questions, answered

Do you deliver dumpsters to Metamora?

Yes. We run all five roll-off sizes into Metamora from our Delta yard. Tell us the address and what you're clearing and we'll line up a drop.

Can the dumpster go on my driveway in Metamora?

Usually yes. On a new driveway or a hot day we'll set boards under it so it doesn't mark the surface. The gravel and farm lanes out in Amboy Township give us plenty of room, so tell us where you want it.

Do you deliver mulch, topsoil, and stone to Metamora?

Yes. Metamora is inside our 25-mile range, so we deliver materials right to your address, or you can pick up at our Delta yard. Mulch and topsoil are sold by the cubic yard, sand and stone by the ton.

How much mulch or stone do I need?

Measure out the bed by length, width, and depth, then send those figures through the calculator on each material page for a rough total. Phone us afterward and we'll pin it down.

Can I pick up materials at the yard instead of having them delivered to Metamora?

Yes. Bring a truck or trailer to our Delta yard and we'll load you. It's a short run down from Metamora if you'd rather grab a load yourself.

What size dumpster do I need for a roof tear-off on an older Metamora village home?

For most single-layer tear-offs on the older homes in the village a 15 or 20-yard handles it. A bigger farmhouse or a two-layer roof usually wants the 30-yard. Tell us the roof and we'll point you to the right box before you book.

How long do I get to keep the dumpster in Metamora, and can I keep it longer for a slow farmhouse cleanout?

The standard rental runs 10 days, which covers most cleanouts and remodels out here. If a barn or farmhouse job runs long, extra days are just $10 a day, so keep it as long as you need and let us know when you're done.
